Drift Series - where the ocean rests in quiet conversation with the shore. This work captures the fleeting moment when the tide hesitates, neither advancing nor retreating, suspended in a breath between motion and stillness.
Each panel in the Drift series is a meeting place of colour, texture, and light, evoking the layered translucence of seawater over sand. The shifting blues and organic forms suggest the pull of currents, the scattering of sunlight across ripples, and the hidden patterns that form beneath the surface.
Made with kiln-formed glass, the subtle bubbles and tonal variations are not imperfections but traces of the process echoes of the water’s own unpredictable rhythms. Just as the ocean reshapes the shore, heat and gravity have shaped these pieces into landscapes of their own.
Drift - is a quiet meditation on change, place, and the beauty of moments in between - an invitation to pause, drift, and listen to the tides within.
